The 5th Annual Ringer Run to benefit suicide prevention and mental health awareness is back on track for 2021.  COVID ... enough said.

We're not outta the woods yet and too many people have been affected on a psychological level by this crisis.  But we are strong, and enduring, so we are proudly holding the race in person and virtually on August 5th - a bit delayed but better late than never - to support those organizations which provide psychological support, counseling, and emergency services.

And the virtual run is still an option for those of you on that much needed vacation you couldn't take in the last 18 months!!! who can;t make it.  What’s a Virtual Run? Sign up for the virtual race and run anywhere (your favorite trail, road, strand, woods, or around your yard 150 times). Just register, download and print your custom race bib, then run it, ride it, row it, walk it, stride it, stroll it, doesn't matter how you get there.  Then we’ll send you some cool swag as a thank you.  Email your finish photo to virtual@ringerrun.com with fair warning: smile cause it might find its way onto our social media pages!  And if it’s a really clever pic, we’ll reserve some clever swag just for you.  

I know it will be hard to beat the SWAG from last year's virtual run, but we'll do our best to properly commemorate the 5 year anniversary of the run.

As 100% of our proceeds are donated, we have already given over $45,000 to local mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs as well as the Joseph J. Ringhoffer Memorial Fund, which was created in memory of a local fallen friend, and which supports the Penn State Student Affairs Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS).  Click here for more information.
